Carton Flow Racking Systems
Carton flow racking is built for fast moving operations where products need to be picked quickly and replenished without slowing down your team. Using gravity fed roller lanes, cartons automatically move from the loading side to the pick face, keeping stock ready to pick at all times.
Perfect for ecommerce, FMCG, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and 3PL facilities, carton flow racking improves productivity and helps you use your warehouse space more efficiently.
What Is Carton Flow Racking?
Carton flow racking is a dynamic, gravity driven storage system. Cartons or totes are loaded at the back of the rack and gently roll forward to the front pick face on inclined roller or wheel tracks. When a carton is picked, the next one moves into position automatically.
This creates a self feeding pick point that separates your picking aisle from your replenishment aisle. Your team never needs to wait for stock to be refilled and FIFO stock rotation happens naturally.

Why Carton Flow Racking Makes Business Sense
- Faster Order Picking: Products are always at the front. No reaching. No searching. Picking productivity increases significantly because every item is immediately accessible.
- Reduced Labour Costs: Workers take fewer steps and spend less time handling cartons. Gravity moves the stock forward so your team can work faster with less physical strain.
- Higher SKU Density in Less Space: Carton flow racking creates a compact, high density picking zone that holds more cartons in the same footprint compared to static shelving.
- Perfect FIFO Rotation: Older stock is always picked first. This protects product freshness and reduces waste, especially for food and pharmaceutical items.
- Fewer Picking Errors: Clear product visibility and consistent pick faces help staff pick accurately. Label holders, dividers and optional picking aids improve accuracy even more.
- Continuous Workflow: Pickers work on the front side while replenishment happens at the back. No aisle congestion. No interruptions.
